European Environment Agency jointly with the Council of Europe is organizing the second training workshop on reporting under the Resolution No.8 (2012) of the Bern Convention and also a follow-up on developing the indicator on protected areas (D1- Protected Areas of the UNECE Environmental Indicators).
The workshop will take place on 8-9 November 2018 in the Council of Europe Office, ROOM 1, on 55, Avenue Kléber, 75016 Paris-France.
The first day of the workshop is dedicated to follow up on the decision of the Standing Committee at its 37th meeting to report on the conservation status of species and habitats protected under the Bern Convention in 2019. The second day is for the practical follow up on the first training workshop which took place in Copenhagen from 17 to 18 April. Its objective is to deepen the concepts and processes of developing the indicator on protected areas based on practical examples supplied by ENI countries themselves.
