In the framework of the Activity 2.3 of the ENI SEIS II East: “Pilots on extending CORINE Land Cover (CLC) methodology to areas of the partner countries”. the European Environment Agency had planned a Closing regional event in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) 3-4 June 2020.  The event was foreseen for one and a half day in order to allow discussions, brainstorming on the future use of CLC methodology at national level as well as on the avenues for continuation and possible funding.

Due to the unprecedented Covid 19 crisis and the unpredictability of needed measures, the EEA decided to convert the event into a digital format by adding also some additional technical elements and materials to support the ENI countries in the future implementation of this activity at the national level.

Consequently, instead of a physical meeting, EEA with support from the experts from ETC/ULS has prepared a digital package for use and dissemination at national level.  Your contribution to the package was extremely relevant summarizing the main results and the possible benefits in continuing and extending this work.
