Ukrainian Government has adopted the Concept of the nationwide automated system "Open Environment" developed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
The system will integrate environmental data of central executive bodies and local governments into one electronic database.
The national system "Open environment" will allow Ukraine to open environmental information to the public and integrate with international registers, information resources etc., in particular in the environment monitoring area, the Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers and the Shared Environmental Information System of the European Environment Agency for research and assessment of environmental indicators.
