The training was a part of project deliverables in capacity building and focused on land cover accounts and relied on  the EEA 10 years practical experience in producing and disseminating these accounts. 

Training methodology was based on the SEEA (SEEA-CF and SEEA-EEA),  developments at the EEA in the context of INCA and MAES, as well as, Ecosystem Natural Capital Accounting guidelines developed by UN CBD.  Training was delivered by CIRAD and funded by ENI SEIS II East project.
