In the context of the OECD's Green Growth and New Green Deal initiatives, the EEA shared environmental applications using SEEA CF 2012 and SEEA EEA in EU, and some of these applications were implemented in Eastern countries (air emissions accounts, water flow accounts, energy accounts, material flow accounts, land accounts...). These applications provide a package of indicators to measure resource efficiency and nature degradation.

A dedicated webpage developed that has a knowledge repository and an online tool to visualize environmental accounting progress in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Besides the developed land cover accounts following the EEA application of Land and Ecosystem Accounts are published and available on the national websites in Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Ukraine.
