The Department for Environmental Protection of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources conducted a two-week survey in order to check compliance with the requirements of environmental protection legislation through the entire country. The survey detected numerous violations and resulted in hundreds of acts and protocols and in dozens of court cases initiated by the authorities
