15 January 2020 | Continuation of Eionet support for developing environmental reports

The EEA and SEA, Slovak Environment Agency, held a kick off meeting for the service contract on Continuation of Eionet support for developing environmental reports under ENI SEIS II East project. SEA is an EIONET nominated partner by the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic.

The contract consolidates the national expertise in integrated environmental assessments to the relevant experts of the six ENI East countries by sharing knowledge of the Slovak Environment Agency, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic and other Eionet partners in Slovakia. In particular, some methodological elements from the SOER2020 preparation at the EEA.

This contract supports the development of several analytical products and services requested during the country visits in 2018-2019. It will include elaboration of brochure, information thematic leaflet, online technical assistance, update of the country briefings and organisation of a regional workshop for eastern experts.

The Regional workshop is a continuation to support capacity building and knowledge sharing by the Slovak experts in developing national state of environment (SoE) reports in the Eastern Partnership countries.

The Regional Workshop on State of environment report will be held in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, 18-19 March 2020.

 The experts from the six Eastern partnership countries will be funded by the ENI SEIS II project.
