13-14 February 2020 | Joint OECD/UNECE Seminar on the Implementation of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting
This fifth seminar shared knowledge and experience on environmental economic accounting (SEEA) in Geneva. Participation of the Eastern Partnership countries was covered by the ENI SEIS II project.
This seminar focused on:
- Circular economy;
- Environmental goods and services sector;
- SEEA experimental ecosystem.
Participants benefited from countries' and international organisations' presentations, panel discussions and audience interaction by electronic voting.
The informal poster session allowed participants from Armenia, Belarus, Russian Federation, France, Philippine to present their posters on SEEA.
Meetings with national focal point (NFP) and experts from the Eastern Partnership region also took place during the seminar, discussing the SEEA progress under the current European Neighbourhood Initiative (ENI) SEIS II East region project, and envisaging specific needs and possibilities for further activities financed by the EU, UNEP and GEF.
