Two day regional workshop on waste statistics was attended by the experts from the Partnership countries, Eurostat and the EEA. It focused on capacity building by discussing the key data quality issues identified during the Pilot Data Sharing Exercise and the review of the waste statistical approaches and practices in each of the Eastern Partnership countries. The second part of the workshop focused on identifying the key areas for improvement and the priorities for country support on waste statistics.
