MED POL Focal Points meeting discusses progress related to ENI SEIS II South support mechanism

The meeting of the focal points of the Mediterranean Pollution Assessment and Control Programme (MED POL) was held on 29 and 31 May 2017 at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Headquarters, Rome, Italy.

The meeting discussed the progress related to ENI SEIS II South Support Mechanism and outlined the way forward with 'InCountry support' under the project that will lead to the signature of small grant (Small Scale Funding Agreement) to support national activities in ENI countries. The meeting underlined the importance of close collaboration between SEIS and MED POL focal points and highlighted the need for stronger links between MED POL work and ENI SEIS II South Support Mechanism implementation.
